make it in a roaster pan with a pork roast and carrots taters and celery use the drippings to make alot of gravy. after dinner pull all meat apart and mix with gravy to eat on toast. Oh ya a trick i learned from an old girlfriend, make small slits in both and insert small cloves of garlic and onion.
Presure cookers work good also and takes less than an hour typically. Sometimes I like to use root vegtables with some tomato paste, and other times I use beer and some french onion soup mix. Most stores have small packets of seasoning for slow cooker/crock pots for under 2 bucks which might make it easier also. Grilling a roast has been hit or miss for me, cant get anything consistant like you can when you slow cook it or use a pressure cooker.
Cheating, maybe...but I tried this one a few weeks ago with my last roast from last year...I will be making it again. I put it on before leaving for work and was ready when I got home...closer to 10 hours than 6, but still good...just do not think about all the sodium in the soups and other sauces.
