Pike night bite?

There are varied opinions concerning if pike are night biters whether one uses live bait,artificial,or trolling.Whats been your experience or opinion.

Larger jointed crank baits after dark depth raiders 6 and 8 and I catch more northerns at night in the latter fall and ice.
