Row Trolling

Anybody here Row Troll for Muskie?On lakes with large Crappie populations I like to paint up a large grandma or jake white with black bands and spots.Seems many seek out cisco based lakes to row troll but I have found crappie filled lakes to be good.Boat in pic is for sale.Think Spring

I started row trolling about 6 years ago after a fishing buddy built his own Cosine Wherry cedar strip boat. Good times for sure, 30 muskies in the net since then. What surprised me most about rowing this lightweight boat was how easily and smoothly it cuts through the water with relatively low effort. No row trollers here??I'm kinda surprised.Looks like weed growth will be way behind this year which means more fish will tend to suspend so try that open water this summer.Have a great season.
