I am in need of fellow angler thoughts, plan for action, and fishing reports on this lake. I am heading to Birch in late June '13. I will be staying on the east end of the lake. I will targeting "Wally", Pike and smallmouth for the most part. I have noticed that this will be a generally considered "a late Spring" in the Ely area. Any information provided will be a great help to me. Thank you. *** I'm coming to Birch with the wife from Wyoming (and the Platte River chain of Reservoirs) to fish Birch the week of June 23rd -29th. Anybody up to offering some suggestions/ hints on fishing (techniques/ a place to start)? Anything would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your reply.
