Mille Lacs ice house

Looking to do a weekend trip to an ice house on mille lacs. Any input as to who to go with. We are looking to be away from people if possible, not sure how this works never have done an ice trip like this. Any input as to who to go with or what to expect thanks.

You should also look into nittis hunters point. Everyone there is so nice!

portavilla for sure been staying with them on upper red the last 3-4 years. awesome shacks and really nice people that will do there best to put you on fish.

Thanks for the reply. I will look into both and decide from there. I have done some broad google searches and there are a lot. Just want to make sure we get put near some fish and can have some fun.

There area ton of great operations on Mille Lacs, the two I would recommend are www.portavilla.com and www.thereddoorresort.com I have worked with both and both will get you set up the way you want, away from people/houses. Have fun on your trip to Mille Lacs this winter!
