fish mounts

lets see some of ya'lls fish mounts.i rarely keep any, specialy big fish, just like to eat pannies. l.m.bass 24" , s.m.bass 21 1/2", walleye 28"' coming two gills 1@ 10 3/4", 1@ 11 1/4"

This is my pike i caught January 6th 2012. 44" and #23. Monster of a fish! Caught her on a 3" shiner. Caught this big fish through a small hole! I remember i had rope burns on my hands once i got her up. Moons were aligned that day, as during that outing we caught 10 pike, only 2 of them were less then 30".

Got this bass on my honeymoon! I got my wife out for her first time ice fishing. We were on mason lake and it was my first time out there. Luckily we caught a bunch of gills but only got one flag at just about the end of the day. On the other end was this 19 incher. My wife was in the car sleeping (we were up late and I had us out there at 6,hehe) and I tapped on the window and she got startled when she turned her head to see a fish in her face. It was no trophy but a great time and the first fish I had mounted. we call it "the honeymoon bass"

23 inch smallmouth out of the st. croix i caught. 23 1/2 inch saugeye my wife caught out of the croix! that half inch she never lets me live down. hahahaha. LEE'S TAXIDERMY prescott wi did the mounts!!!!

23 1/2 large mouth. caught this years ago on lake napwan. the fight took some time and she was hooked pretty bad so i made the decision to keep er. haven't mounted on since but im not against it either. i do like to put a lot back because i love catching em so much. never done a replica but i guess if you get the measurements they can make one that looks like a mount. my mount doesn't do justice to what she was when i caught her though cuz i froze it for a while before i mounted it and it lost pretty much all of the girth it had.

This my walleye that i caught last new years. It weighed about 10.5 pounds and measured in at 30 inches. Scott Miller out of Prescott did it and he did a awesome job!

I know a guy from Wi Rapids who does nice work not only as a taxidermist but a killer tattoo artist as well if interested hit him up @ Images in Ink he's done some amazing fishh tattoos as well.

Without pointing anyone out there are some really bad mounts on this thread. Do your homework before dropping off a fish at a taxidermist or you'll end up with something like a walleye with a mouth bigger than a 10lb largmouth bass!

i caught this perch ice fishing in 2010 on a tip up. got the mount back in 2011 and the first pic is how it looked like the first year. then i added the shiner this last weekend and i think it makes the mount look 100 percent better. i will eventually add a tip up to the mount to.

This mount was done by Rich's Taxidermy in Mukwonago. The price was $210.00 for the whole thing. As you can see he did a great job. My 8 year old son caught this 22 inch bass.
