I agree with the other 2 posts. I am on the field staff for several companies. Everyone of them contacted me! You could try and contact them, but it will be pretty much a waste of time. There are not a whole heck of a lot of benefits to it. Yeah, you may get free gear, but this also means you have to test it. Spend some time using the product and report back to the company on your results. This sounds good but becomes a lot of work for very little pay.
Proof that YOU can bring something to the table. Catching fish or shooting animals has little to do with it. As ditto said, what can you do to increase sales. That said though, it starts with mastering your craft. Credibility in the field makes a name for yourself and in turn makes you a marketing channel for a company. That's it in a nutshell
I don't want to sound rude but if you are asking the question on here you are not ready to be on a "pro staff". Just because you can catch fish or shoot big animals doesn't mean sqwuat, there are thousands of guys like that out there. How can YOU make it so the company sells more products? That's what they really want to know.
