Just wondering if anyone out there has ever been down south to Texas, Alabama, or anywhere else and hunted for wild pigs. Was looking at going next year and would like some info as to where, when, cost, ect. Thanks

Headed to lease in Mississippi. Gonna do a little bit of turkey hunting, check my cameras and see how the piggy population is. Always interesting to see how many young they have and see what is in store for the fall and winter!! ' Cajun

Can't wait to get out wild pig hunting the next couple of weeks. Guns sighted in. Got the hog calls and a few good bait piles out along with some sow in heat scent. Gonna be fun going after some serious Bacon!!!

A few of us are doing a boar hunt in 10 days. If anyone has meat handling tips, good recipes for saus, brats and cooking, please PM me. Thanks, Rat.

I have hunted with Shiloh ranch a couple different times. Great set up, lots of hogs and fairly affordable. It is in or near Ada/Stonewall, Oklahoma. Here is link to the website http://155.212.11.42/

Guys who messaged me about hunts please email me. For some reason messenger is down. Lots of hogs around right now. We shot 8 last week. Still good to hunt in March, April, and May. Take care. [email protected]

Here are some wild hogs that we have shot last year. I will send a few more. Come on down and hunt some of these porkers!! The big boars are a great trophy. I mounted one with some big cutters. The sows and piglets are awesome eating and taste close to regular pork. Biggest one I have shot is 385 lbs. I have seen a few pushing the 500 lb. mark. I think these were Russian Boars.

That is a great offer! I just might have to take you up on that someday. Now I know how you got your handle. What did you think of the taste of the wild pigs? Is there a place down there close by to process & ship the meat?

Have a great fall,

Big Mac

I've hunted out of Bent Creek Lodge just outside Butler Alabama a few times. Great folks and all the pigs you want. Take lots of ammo.

I have moved down to Louisiana and been down here for 4 years.. Great hog hunting. I have shot about 20 or so since I have been down here. My biggest was a 350 boar. Some are russian and some look like farm pigs but a little hairier. Most of them are in the swamps and its great hunting around January, February when it cools down a little bit and the water gets low. You find them along the ridges where they feed on acorns. I like stalking them with my bow. Its a awesome hunt and great adrenaline rush!! Message me and I can work something out if someone would like to come get a crack at a few porkers. I also have 300 acres in Mississippi that is loaded with them. Message me and I will send you a few pics!
