shrink wrap and freezer paper

Depends on what plastic they use. Where I get my stuff done their plastic seems to rip open alot. I've complained numerous times but it doesn't seem to help. If tey are sealed in good paper them save the money. If you butcher your own deer and don't have a vaccum sealer them freezer paper them and put them in freezer ziplock bags and they will be good for along time.
Freezer paper is nice to protect the plastic, like if you froze your meat in ziploc bags like I did this past year during rifle season, warm weather had me butcher 2 deer during the middle of the week, didnt have my vac-sealer with. The zip loc bags get brittle in the freezer, break tear etc when rough handled sometimes.
But as said, with the vac-sealer bags I think the paper would be un-needed.
