new vice grease removal

Hey guys, I just got my new vice in the mail and it's covered in packing grease. I was wondering how others have removed this grease so that it doesn't get on the flies? Thanks in advance!

Dave, I bought a cheaper Cabela's vice as a second vice to help me tie MOAL leeches. Thanks for the advice guys! As soon as I get home from my teaching day here, I'm going to try washing it off in Dawn dish soap. Thanks again!

Dish Washing soup would probably work fine and would have less lasting adverse odors and effects.. What did you buy?

Gun solvent.... Gasoline....be careful and do it outside and make sure Trap isn't around to light up a cigar! In a pinch a good dish soap removes grease pretty well
