Looking for a Springer Spaniel stud

I have an all English bloodline (all bloodline from England)female springer. I am looking for an excellent bloodlined male to breed her with in the spring of 2013. She will be 2 in August of this year and I still have to get certifications. She is dark liver and white but the male does not have to be the same color. Black/white will be fine.

I specifically picked her as she is on the small side (30#) which is ideal for the grouse and woodcock hunting I do. I am looking for a smaller male with hopes of keeping the smaller size for the litter. My older female will be 10 this year and I am planning to keep one female from the litter.

Does anyone have a contact for a stud that fits what I am looking for?

I would suggest talking with Ten Bar Ranch ESS in Lake Andes, SD. I have hunted with some of their pups, and have hunted with Terry and his dogs... great dogs and absolutely wonderful people. The majority of his lines are direct from England and he maintains that within his breeding programs.

150Class - I am finally able to have a little spare time to revisit this. While the bloodlines at bluerivergundogs are good they are not quite what I am looking for. I am looking to maintain the European bloodlines in my female. I also need to find a smaller male as a larger one could cause delivery issues. I have a couple leads I am following. I thank you for the suggestion.

One of the things I note between my "American" English Springer and my "English" English Springer Gypsy is the head. Gypsy's head is narrower and more bullet shaped than the American lines. I have had individuals think that she was a Brittany at first glance but then get confused because she has none of the other Brittany traits. She is a very unique dog.

Where are you located? I have a small male around 35 pounds. Good pedigree. I can put you in touch with the breeder or maybe work something out with you.

I don't have a real good picture but here you go. He stole the antlers out of the back of my truck!
