Humping after retreives

I have been very careful to make sure my dog turns out to love retrieving as much as i enjoy duck hunting. She is at 14 weeks right now and she is doing phenomenal. She LOVES to retrieve. The problem at hand sounds kinda stupid, or like i am trying to be funny, but I really am serious. Every time my dog brings back something "bumper" "dowl" "duck" she comes right to me, perfect. I am Always careful to not pull it away quick. once i sneak it away from her. She immideatly starts humping my leg furiously. And im talking 100% all out. I don't want her to think retrieving is bad, so i ignore her and let her hump away, once i get her attention she is ready for another retrieve. Rince and repeat. she is back to my leg. I am getting sick of it, I don't want to punish her because i want her to associate retrieving with good things. I am sure she is trying to show dominance in a wierd way. But im not sure how to correct it in a manner that won't negatively associate retrieving.

Yes, I actually have been working on that for the past couple weeks. Started doing free shaping it for treat rewards, She is doing very good on it. I havn't introduced it into retrieving yet, however i think this will help solve the problem.

Just an idea but maybe you should try standing on a platform. S.S.

Once you have the bumper away from her, the act of the retrieve is already done. She is showing dominance over you through humping at that point. Start by lightly kneeing or twisting your foot to get her off of you. Make the entire thing fun for her, but just don't allow her to hump your leg. If you have to shake her off and tell her "NO", it will still probably be fine. Keep in mind that she is very young and obviously excited to retrieve for you. Hopefully this is a phase that she will grow out of as she gains focus for retrieving. However, you do not want to let her think that this behavior is OK. When she is a year old and big, I'm guessing that you don't want her to retrieve a duck to you and then knock you over while humping your leg the entire time.

That is the approach i try to take, but she is so into humping my leg i have to catch her attention for the next retrieve.
