Anyone feed raw and kibble?

It has a lot to do with the type of dog as well. Shepherds like mine are known for having sensitive belly's. We were feeding him raw because the breeder had started him that way. We continued it and then we had a late night trip to the doggy ER because a piece of bone got stuck on the way out....
So we started to grind the chicken, bones and all with our meat grinder. That worked for a while, he actually stopped eating the chicken. He would eat some of it but not nearly enough for it to be a "meal ".
Switched to Taste of the Wild (grain free kibble) and that was havoc on his belly. Now feeding Canidae...he likes it, has good consistent movements and to be honest, I don't notice any difference.
So 2 whole chickens a week until gone, then you switch to kibble until the week is over. How is your dogs stool?
Have you witnessed any of the benefits to feeding raw?
I'm afraid I'll forget to unfreeze something for him. Also, I've heard the meat must be frozen for a minimum of 20 days. So if I run low, I'm sol. The benefits of feeding raw has me contemplating the change however.
