Can somebody help me with some channel cat tips Thanks bros

Sonny's stink bait has a blood formula, which works better. I had the regular and blood formula on an outing and had more bites on the blood formula. Also, as some have stated, cut bait will get you into some bigger fish.

make sure before people tell you that you can net near a dam to get the facts straight first.....

If you are near a dam catch some gizzard shad with a net and use them as cut bait. I use a 10/0 circle hook. Dont be afraid to use a big chunk even a small channel will take a big bait.

channel cats should be moving shallow this time of year. try shallow or mid depth flats adjacent to current. work the flats, and the areas where slack water meets up with moderate current. for size, nothing beats fresh cutbait. try cut sucker, or shiner, or catch some panfish and cut them up. if you're after numbers, liver or dipbaits work well. sonny's seems to be the brand of choice for most of the guys i've talked to. good luck!
