Fishing the river running through downtown Milwaukee with nightcrawlers will get you some bullhead catfish, but they smell like poo and might taste like it too.

can anyone give me hints on Milwaukee area catfishing spots? From shore or boat. haven't fished for cats in years and want to introduce the grandkids to the sport. You can PM me or post it. Any help is appreciated.

Where is some decent spots to go after flatheads near Fond du Lac from shore just moved here and I catfish alot back where I'm from and nothing feels better then biggins, not too concerned with quantity, but would like to get a 30 pounder or bigger if possible and not specific spots I know thos are kept secret mostly looking for a system and town location if possible. Please PM me.

I checked the dnr website and it sounds like it is a channel cat? It says they are blue to olive and once the spots disappear they can be confused with blue cats? Dnr site says blue cats don't live this far north. Well in any case, sorry about that gents. Still a big fat catfish.

There are NO blue cats in wisconsin. Look at the records and there is NO record of a blue catfish. Yours would be the first......NOT

I caught a 20 pounder on the river at a public spot in montello next to the river outfitter. Maybe an hour or so from you, worth the drive. blue cat.

Appleton, under a dam on the Fox, or any place in a deep hole. No doubt around Omro on the Fox too for shore fishing. Anywhere on the Wolf too. They are everywhere. Catching them can be a little harder. .
