5 more weeks until Kashabowie Lake

In about 5 weeks I'll be headed up to Kashabowie Lake which is 75 miles west of Thunder Bay on Highway #11. I'll be there from the last week of june until around August 1st before heading back home to Illinois and then re-packing for my trip up to west of the twin cities in MN to fly fish he headwaters of the Mississippi Rver for the large smallmouth bass that are in there. While in Canada I'm planning a couple of trips over to the Nipigon River for some Brook Trout and Lake trout fishing as well. Kashabowie is the lake just south of LDM and can be portaged in from there as well. Kash holds many smallies,pike,walleye and lake trout. I'll also be trailering the boat into many other lakes in the area up to the Quetico's. Will fish the AYA with a couple of kids from Thunder Bay on July 7th and then fish a 2 day Shebandowan Smallmouth Bass Tournament with a guy from Thunder Bay on the 21st & 22nd of July. 5 weeks of nothing but fishing and sitting around the campfire in the evennings with my friends from up in Canada. Will let everyone knows how it goes and maybe put up some pictures if I can figure out how to. BernardE
