Canada Navionics Chip

I recently bought a new boat and am going to pull it to Canada for the first time this year. Does anyone have experience with the Navionics chip for Canada? I see on the website that they have the "1,000" or so lakes that are available in HD listed. However, the site says that there are over 17,000 other lakes included, just not in HD. I fish on a smaller lake near Perrault Falls and would really like to know if our lake is on there before dropping $200. I've emailed Navionics, but apparently they don't want to respond. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yep, I am certain Cedar is on the Navionics chip. But none of the other lakes are. I even sent Navionics some map links to add other lakes in the area,but have not seen them added. you can verify Cedar by going to Navionics website. they list all of the lakes contained on each chip they sell. Plus, I have a iPad app that lets you download lake maps and you get those that they have available on the chip.

i fish cedar too and saw on their site last year that cedar is included. I wanted to buy it but its hard to spend that money on something i use 1 week out of the year. I have been going to cedar for 14 years and know the lake pretty good and have lots of good points on my hummingbird gps finder and my garmin handheld

Bob66 - That is unfortunate. I was really looking forward to having that up there this year. I am guessing it's just a blank blue picture when they don't have your lake?

the only lake in that area is Cedar Lake
