mountain man series

some very close friends of mine, Tom & Nancy Oar of Yaak, Mt. will be on a series called MOUNTAIN MAN on the History channel 31 May 10pm. Tom taught me to trap 'way back when. check it out....

I got a kick out of the building of the tree stand for deer hunting. Don't they have ropes in N. Carolina or do they just like climbing trees with heavy timber?

did I have too much to drink last night or did dude ax off a chunk of a deer's head and give it to his dog???

any comments on the show? thought it was great, but a bit to much 'drama. but that's what they do? awesome photograpy!

update: good story in todays Rockford paper on them...
