Here are the dates for the 2013 Madison Chain schedule. May 11th Lake Farm launch May 19th Olin Park launch June 16th Lake Farm launch Aug. 4th Olin Park launch Aug. 11th Lake Farm launch I skipped a lot of June and July as to not interfere with other tournaments going on at this time. My name is Joe Stodola and I helped codirect the division last year. I will be running the series this year. NBAA has joined with TBF this year. After being in communication with our reps, as of right now, nothing is going to change. You will have to purchase a NBAA membership online. Our field is limited to the first 19 boats that show up at the ramp. We fish from 6am-2pm. There is a 5 fish limit so you can fish alone or as a team. Cost per tournament is $100. Qualifying teams will have the chance to fish the the national championship. If you have any questions, you can call me at 920-323-3773 or check on the NBAA website. I hope to see you on the water. Joe

Any size boat that you want to fish out of works just as long as it meets coast guard regulations. The bass just need to be alive at weigh in for them to count. As far as membership goes, if you pay for 3 years at a time it is cheaper than if you pay for it anually. I believe it costs $35 a year before May? I know it will say on the website. Last, I am not related to him as far as I know, but I am a teacher as well, but in Dodgeville. Joe

Just in curiosity are you related to ryan stodola? He's my tech ed teacher at monona grove highschool haha and anyways ok and is there any limits on boat/motor size because i fish out of a 16 1/2 foot alumacraft v hull with a 25 horse johnson but i would have a live well and everything else just wondering and also do you have to renew your nbaa membership each year

Yes it will. I will be running this tournament series this year. I don't have the dates set in stone yet but I am looking at: May 11th May 18th June 16th Aug 3rd Aug 11 Aug 24 I took a lapse from most of June and July as to not compete with a couple other tournament circuirts going on here at that time. I look forward to seeing you! Joe Stodola

Our last tournament of the year will be this Sunday out of Lake Farm. The fishing is heating up with big bags brought in last week. It took 18lbs. to win and 16lbs. got second for a 5 fish bag. I hope to see you there! Joe

hope you got my message blake, my motor wasn't pumping water due to sand that got into my intake. i wasn't able to get to any of my spots and wasn't catching many fish. the only way i cud get anymore was with the trolling motor so just decided to call it quits around 11.
