You have nothing to worry about with a hook slipping off, alot of us shoot hinge releases and do let down plenty without issues, hooks are nicer to hook up then caliper style releases.
Would be a wrist,
I've seen the hook style in magazine, how does this work when you let up to not shoot arrow it looks like it could slip off.
Had a loop added this year to new string and in past had a winn relaxed trigger to shoot.
Not worried about price.
I use a Carter choc lite 4 for hunting and a Scott black hole 4 for target and the off season. You get what you pay for, can't beat carter and scott, I also had good customer service from truball in the past
take your bow to a good shop with a good selection, and try them out and find what you like best. stay away from Trufire..look hard at Scott and Carter...just like anything you get what you pay for!
