atv plowing

anyone ever put on of those plates the plow v bars hook up to on(plow mount kit )? and ever use a downforce cylinder to put extra pressure on plow (keeping blade down under load) cycle country sells/ makes them..

I'm not familiar with what you are talking about but have been plowing with a moose plow for 8 years and never wanted any more down pressure with wet snow. I however used the ATV for some landscape work with loose dirt a couple years ago and I put some tractor wheele weights on the blade to dig down.

ther is a device that looks like a shock module ,it puts a xtra 150 lobs of downforce to the blade so in heavy snow it has increased ground contact....anyone use this ?

I am not understanind your issue. From my experience with over 10 years plowing with an atv, I loose traction way before not having enough downforce to move snow. This is with a blacktop driveway. When I move snow across the street to where I have grass, I ususally have to be careful with my downforce or I plow the grass up.
