Hi. I have never fished near Oconto but am considering giving it a try. I am wondering if there are good weedbeds in this area and how the weeds look this year. Thanks and any help would be appreciated!

got out tonite with my son and daughter, awesome evening of fishing.. 8 eyes, 1 21" smallie, and a bunch of sheeps.... flicker shads in 13' -- 35' back

got 7 this am on the inline spinners and flickershads... perch color was probably the best.. 12 - 15 fow.... se of park 2... wife and kid got a little green in the gills, but other than that, awesome morning!!!!

Hi everyone. I was very fortunate to take part in the A.I.M. Pro Walleye Series fishing tournament this past weekend. I fished with different professional walleye pros each day. I signed up as a co-angler and paid just $300 for the 3 days of fishing. That was a bargain considering that these are the best fishermen and women {Marianne Huskey> in the country. Anyone who thinks they know how to fish walleyes has got to try this one time. You will learn a lifetime of tips and tactics in 3 days and you get to hang with these guys in the park at the weigh in each day. What an experience!! I would recommend anyone who would like to learn how to fish to get in on this in 2013, you won't regret it

Not a report but a response to Kbfisher. We cant thank you enough for bringing in my Dad!!! He would have died without medical attention. Our whole family is so thankfull. We would like to know your name. His name is actually Dave. I hear it took two hours for the hospital to revive him. My husband knew something was wrong when he didnt answer his phone, he was at home hooking up his boat to go look for him when he got the call from him about what happend. He met Dad at the hospital and brought him back to the van and the boat. He was fine that night like nothing happend. But he has decided no more fishing trips alone... P.S. you were right it was his diabetes. He ate all the food he had when he realized he bloodsugar was low but it wasnt enough. He had thought there was glucose tabs in his tacklebox, but there wasnt. He decided to pull up the anchor to get back to the dock and that is when he collapsed. Thank you again.

Not a report. I brought the guy into the dock on Friday. His last name was Hurlbut the name on his fishing rod was JON. They found a diabetic tag on him. He was out, but breathing when I got him to the dock. If anyone hears how he is doing please post it..

Went out today to fish Oconto Shoals. Wind came up pretty hard after I launched. Pulled harnness', but no walleyes today, half dozen perch caught on harnness'. Tried anchoring and fish for perch, but the wind/waves were more than the anchor could hold.

When I came in the Sheriff Dept and Ambulance was at the dock, some fisherman brought in a guy and was taken away. Anyone know anything about this and if he's ok. Guess he was out by himself and some other fisherman seen him collaspe. they went to check on him and found him in the bottom of his boat.

Went out yesterday afternoon, 3 small eyes, 5 sheeps, 2 cats and one perch.
