Over the last 2 days we put well over 50 walleyes in the boat, with a few prespawn females, some big smallmouth bass, and a few big pike too. Casting rippin raps and hair jigs accounted for all our fish, with long casts a necessity in the clear water. We had many walleyes in the 23-25” range, with a few topping the 28” mark. Great fun for everyone! I have a few openings for this hit bite. Capt Jerry

It’s been a great week on the Bay, with many beautiful walleyes hitting the net!! Lots of happy clients with a few more personal bests on a great jigging and casting bite. Hair jigs and rippin raps have put the most fish in the boat. Water temps are pushing into the upper 40’s, creating increased fish activity and, increased fishing pressure! Working the outer edges of groups, and finding less pressured fish was key in putting more fish in the boat today. I have a few openings this month and into May, for anyone looking to take a trip. Fun weekend with new and old friends, chasing walleyes out of Oconto. The bite was tough, but we managed to put several quality fish in the boat. Rippin raps and hair jigs did the damage for us, with an accent on moving the baits slowly. I’ll be out every day this coming week, so I’ll try for some fishing updates. Capt Jerry
I’m getting a late start to the walleye charter season this year, recovering from knee and hip surgeries. Starting next week, I’m booking walleye trips again. Glad to be back and healthy! Contact me here or email at [email protected] to book a trip. Capt Jerry.
