This is one of my go-to smallmouth lakes. During low-light conditions, you can get some great topwater action. Simple lake to fish, finding bass located around rocky areas. Average size is pretty good (15-16 inches) with a chance of some really nice fish. Haven't tried for walleyes, and have only caught one largemouth.

I only say its poor because I hate it when bad mannered Minnesotans come up and fish 30 yards from me. Next person to anchor within casting distance is getting a free Rapala hooked in their ass.

Great lake to fish. Lots of big bluegill and rock bass. Plenty of big smallmouth and largemouth bass.
