Averill Lake is a 68 acre lake located in Vilas County. It has a maximum depth of 5 feet. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye.
NOTE: This list may not be all inclusive of all speices present in Averill Lake.
- Bag limits are for fish caught in all lakes in the PRESQUE ISLE CHAIN including PRESQUE ISLE LAKE, VAN VLIET LAKE
- Catch and release fishing for largemouth and smallmouth bass is open year round unless otherwise noted.
- Motor Trolling is allowed with 1 hook, bait, or lure per angler, and 3 hooks, baits, or lures maximum per boat.
