Whitefish Bay, WI

Undeveloped, secluded lake in the National Forest. 180 acres with good depth (60 ft maximum, 33 ft average) and very clear, clean water. Accessible only by hiking trail, about 1/4 mile from parking area. Has campsite with fire pit on its shore. No boat launch - carry in only. Fishing requires special permit from nearby DNR station. Its shore is lined with hardwoods, backdropped by evergreens, making it very scenic in the fall. Surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature.
