Fished here for largemouth bass. Didn't get a single bite. Looked like a nice lake. It's probably best after they dump the trout.

Some very nice trout are taken every year. Below the dam is the best for big trout 4-8 lbs. Some really nice gills are taken early ice but they all have WORMS! This lake needs to be drained very bad. The lake is mostly shallow so if you find water in the 4-6 ft range you will catch fish. This lake also holds one of the biggest contests around in the first weekend of Feburary, giving away $15,000 in prizes. Only one catagory trout and 1st place is $500 since I have fished it.
