Not a bad lake. Simple to catch crappies in the summer and same with perch, but i never caught a crappie in the winter yet. It's a off and on lake in the winter for perch. I once took home about six 9 to 11 inch perch out of this lake in the winter. But on some days you just get those clustered small ones. You might want to use a crappie minnow and jig in the winter for the bigger perch. The little 3 inchers like to rip off the grubs and worms. I need to seach for those crappies... I'm going to be ice fishing this lake heavily this season so be prepared for some reports.
