Feb 02, 2019 review... there was a fish kill few years back - it was brutal. If you like 4 inch perch this is your lake. Dead sea.

This lake is awesome for ice fishing. I have fished this lake for many years and have limited out on northern within 3 or 4 hours every time. It also has some nice large mouth and walleye. Pan fishing in early summer and through the ice when the weeds are low is also very very good. The lake is extremely flat for its size and constantly weedy throughout which makes northern fishing possible anywhere. This is a great lake to have fun with the family chasing down tip ups all day on. GREAT LAKE!!!

Great lake for bass and northern, very shallow lake for such large area. Very few spots deeper than 10+ ft. Gets pretty weed choked in middle summer to late fall. Good lake if you can maneuver around the weeds.
