Went here to kayak. Access to the lake is terrible!! There is no sign at the main road to indicate access so it was extremely difficult to find. Carry length was quite long and the path is mucky near the lake. There is plywood down, but it is deteriorating. The lake is very clean and very nice. Interestingly, the road around the lake is almost entirely private. One gets the feeling no one wants you to know this lake is there!

Lots of fish in the shallows and by structure. Good diving lake for late spring and early summer.

Can be tough to fish but if you hit it at the right time 9-1/2 to 10 inch Blue gills can be caught. The are some nice crappie as well. I caught one that went 14-1/2 inches. The tough access is why I like this lake. You need to drag a boat down a trail. Ice fishing can be difficult unless you fish it at the right time and know the areas to fish. I believe the trout in this lake are brown trout not brook as listed.
