I fished my way from the Headgates all the way to the lake.The lake gets pretty shallow and mucky. The river has some nice bass fishing in areas but i caught three small mouths and a nice northern. If you just throw out a worm u will catch a rough fish or catfish witch are really common

lots of rough fish great for a bowfisher most frish i catch are at the dam and spots on the sugar i catch cat walleys a few northern many bass few panfish

Fished this most of my life. Headgates, near the boat landing, yeild a few fish, but not many. The dam is pretty nice. Smallies above, wallys near the rock face below, and pretty much anything below the spillway. Panfish along the rockwall.
