LAST FISHING REPORT-8/6/2020
For information on lakes in the Southwest District call the Cold Springs office at (712) 769-2587.

A few channel catfish were caught on the roadbeds this week. Crappies were caught around brush piles and the road beds. Largemouth bass fishing has been good.

Bluegill - Slow: Anglers report catching bluegills drifting and trolling small jigs in 6 to 8 feet of water. Tipping the jigs with berkly or night crawlers helps.

Black Crappie - Fair: Best fishing seems to be early morning around tree piles and along the two road beds in the lake.

Largemouth Bass - Good: Anita has a good bass population. Find fish along vegetation edges and around tree piles.

Channel Catfish - Fair: Catfish are being caught on top of the two roadbeds in the lake.
