The lake is down and was once a pretty good fishing spot. It hasn't been good for nearly ten years. There are lots of other good lakes to the north west that are fantastic for fishing.

The water level remains low, but it has been lower. The crayfish are fading fast and no where near the number they used to be, thank you DNR. The minnows have returned in large numbers. The Crappie are doing good and the Bass are steady. But if you are on shore near the boat landing you are missing the best fishing. Having you own dock late and night or very early in the morning provides for some of the best fishing. It doesn't hurt to get back in the bay either. Catch and Release if you are fishing this lake, if you don't then you must be an outsider. We leave the Bluegills for our children since they are so easy to catch, you can catch them with your bare hands. Hopefully we will see some more precipitation this winter and next spring to bring the lake's water level up!

Alright...walk down the shore and fish between two tiny little trees growing up just along the shore. I promise you will catch a nice one. Where did all the "dads" go. I wanted to eat some.
