Don't be fooled by the list of fish species listed here on lake link, I've been fishing Ellison Lake for 25 years and I have caught almost everything under the sun. Black Crappie, Rock Bass, Largemouth, Pike, Walleye, Bluegill, Pumpkin Seed, and even Bullhead. The largemouth fishing is AWESOME. I've never seen a smallmouth come out of this lake. I've also had success in nearly every season :) Unfortunately, there's no public access, my family is lucky enough to have a cabin on the lake. If you're looking for a great new vacation home, check out this lake! My family has been enjoying it for 3 generations. Please take only what you will eat and respect the limits. Also, try to release the big ones to make more strong babies! :) Thanks!
