Petenwell Lake is located in Adams County, Wisconsin. This lake is 23,173 acres in size. It is approximately 44 feet deep at its deepest point. When fishing, anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Bluegill, Lake Sturgeon, Largemouth Bass, Muskie, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Tiger Muskie and Walleye.

LAST FISHING REPORT2/23/2020
Didn't catch a lot of fish but caught a couple nice ones. Took snowmobile out off off Wilderness park. Snow really went down fast today. Not many fish on locator. 26" and 19" came off tip ups. Smaller fish on slip boober. Shiners and fatheads.
- Hook and line fishing is open all year for fish species except muskellunge, lake sturgeon, trout, paddlefish and threatened or endangered species.
- Motor Trolling is allowed with up to 3 hooks, baits, or lures, per angler.
