Was able to get out Saturday morning to troll cranks off the deep break for whatever was biting. Landed a nice 28" northern off a submerged hump but was skunked the rest of the morning. Marked a high number of fish along the NE breakline but, again, had no bites. Hoping to get out again in a few weeks.

Anyone fish yellow in mid September? Probably just musky fishing if I come up. Any advice?

Was there last week. Raised a few but no hook ups. Smaller crankbaits and bucktails. Darker colors. Pike were active.

Thinking about headed up to Yellow this summer around mid August to chase muskies.  My grandparents lived on the lake for over 20 years.  Have had some amazing memories up there chasing muskies and doing very well. Big Bass and Northerns always help the time go by too.  It's been a few years since I've been there... Just curious if anyone can give me an idea how the musky fishing has been this year.  If its even worth the time going or if anyone's had any luck on bodies of water near there.  ANY reports would be awesome. Thanks everyone in advance!

Shorelines are soft, but still lots of ice in the area. Tough call it will be ice out in 2 weeks.  Im gonna forecast that it will be ice free, because I as well as SO MANY others, want it to be. Gd luck, JH

Does anyone know what the lakes are like around there? Will I be able to put the boat in this lake or others in the area in about 2 weeks?
