Wolf River Shiocton

Anyone know the launch conditions at Kopek's?  Anyone going out and need a partner? Anyone know an official or unofficial guide for this stretch od river?

I saw a large and a small walleye together at 8:20 in the marsh.  Probably in the act of spawning.   Lots of fish in there, perch, sturgeon, suckers walleye and what looked like a gill.  No whites yet.     Many walleye headed downstream on #1 cam.

Lots of walleyes on the downstream.  Quite a few still coming up 

Fished up river from Damn Yankee's this morning. Need a smaller boat to get under the bridge. Started fishing at 6:30 and fished until 10:00. Caught 3 walleye and a nice sized cat. Lost 3 other walleyes near the boat. Also tied into a sturgeon (on four pound line that didn't last long). Fire Tiger jig and a minnow. We were anchored and jigging. All were spawned out.

Saw 12 walleyes going up stream, 3 going downstream, 1 sturgeon going up stream , and 2 suckers going upstream on Shiocton 1 camera during 10 minute viewing at 2 AM this morning !

even seen a few sturgeon today on cam 1...1 giant 1 too

The SHIOCTON #2 cam shows a spawning marsh and I saw 1 walleye kinda milling around so it’s getting close.    The water was 42.5

7 walleyes passed through in 5 minutes of viewing, that’s an impressive #!    That’s around 80 an hour in just a small viewing area.     I know!, but it’s fun playing with #s LOL.  Its now time do do something constructive!
