I agree Walleye1X. We launched by Chico's yesterday as well. No issues. The new owners are doing a great job. Highly recommend using their launch.Fishing is definitely slow. Our catch consisted of 2 northerns, and 4 walleye. 3 dinks and 1 keeper that was released. Hopefully this next system coming late this weekend will dump plenty of moisture!!!
Partly Sunny 35°
Water: 39°
Miggle,
Fished a couple days recently out of Chico’s and they’ve done a nice job of keeping the landing mostly ice free. They have everyone stop and let the trailers drain, and they have been putting down salt when needed. Mostly if common sense is used, things are pretty good.
The fishing on the other hand, not so good. Water temps have fallen about 5-6 degrees and it has definitely affected the bite. Things should pick up again as water temps rebound.

For the early birds when the temp is freezing or below be careful. With the low water you have to back further down the ramps to launch your boat. The ramps can be glare ice leading to a nasty fall, floating piers can also have frost on them. Still nursing a sore shoulder from my fall. Tight Lines and be safe!!!
