Fished a little today. Mostly checking out the ice on little lake. Only about 4”. So stay safe out there. Snow is insulating the ice.

Lake Wissota should be completely open after this weekend. Main lake ice shield along east shore, little lake scattered small ice packs but looking like almost gone
I'm no authority on Wissota but have been having some luck on the Yellow River channel just off of the public beach in the state park. On the west side of the river channel there is a flat in about twenty feet of water. Lots of fiddles. Best bait so far have been night crawlers. Morning seems better than night.
