Heading up this weekend and was looking to do some musky fishing, just wondering if the river would be worth a shot to try for some, or if I should try some other lakes in the area?

Big Mayfly hatch last night. I-90 bridge loaded with em. Car got hammered as I crossed the bridge this morning. I suspect 33 Bridge into portage will be covered too but I haven't verified yet. Anyway, fishing is gonna suck for a while.
Boat just recently took a crap on me. Was wanting to try shore fishing for some walleyes. Any info in the right direction would be appreciated.
71° - 75° F
Was out again last night same spot with different results. I did manage to finally get a white bass and it was a big bastard. But it was the only one I caught. Few more eyes last night all shorts.
Whitebass in the lake for sure
Walleye wiz, I have a surface drive motor with a flat bottom no worries for me on the river. Anybody else with a boat bigger than 16ft and a long shaft outboard...good luck getting acrossed to the channel. You'll be sucking sand in no time
Walleye watcher I was in 13-14 fow. I put in at the point in portage
how deep and where do u put in?
76° - 80° F
Fished a drop off near the 33 bridge last night. Caught around 8 or 9 shorts one of them being a 12 inch fatty. Caught one legal, that happend to be tagged. Ton of goats caught as well. Still not one white bass yet. I'm thinking they are all back in the lake by now.
91° - 95° F
Pounded the shorts on Monday. Caught one keeper, one giant channel cat and a few goats. The water has come way down. Still kind of shock I've yet to get a white bass this year. Smallies are moving in as well. My brother caught a 17in pig on Friday.
