How's the bite here this year? I see a lot of people EVERYWHERE! But no reports in these areas really.

Fished 7-3 today. Bite was great in the morning, caught 15 walleyes and kept two- one 15” and one 16”. Water kept getting higher, faster, and dirtier throughout the day and we didn’t catch a fish after noon. Boat control became a chore with the current, and the wind didn’t help either.
On our way out we came across two guys in an older boat having motor/battery problems who were pinned against a tree in the current on the west bank south of Chuck’s Landing. Ended up towing them back to the landing, which was quite a task with the current. I’m glad we were able to help get them out before they started to get swamped.
Ice, logs, and other debris are everywhere. If you are unsure of your equipment, please stay home until the water recedes and the current is less intense! Be safe, tight lines!
Water is still rising.
Flooded at chucks and river park
Waters up but boat landing is useable. Then there is this crazy dude out there playing. :)
I would say it would be impossible to launch there right now. I could probably walk 30 yards out from landing without going over my knee high boots. Should be back up by the weekend.
With the low water, can you launch at Chuck's landing? Any recent reports....anyone been out?
