Minnows, Mcdill pond would be another good option. I took the kayak out last weekend didn't see a bass caught but a lot of guys were throwing for them.

As for posting reports when you're really on fish, I've learned keeping quiet is the best route to go now a days. If you'd like an example look at the Big Eau Pliene this site put that lake back on the map. I take part responsibility for that because I couldn't keep my fingers off the keyboard, live and yah learn I guess.

@minnows It is not part of the river, but Lake Joanis in Schmeeckle Reserve has some nice largemouth. No motor boats on that lake however.

Don't get me wrong. I wasn't looking for a daily log of who caught what where. Just seemed there would have been a bit more with all the activity and thought maybe this was a dead thread or a different one was being used.

Thanks

Fishermen in this area are smart enough to enjoy fishing and not publish every catch.

Launch is in at Rivers Edge, but with the high water its a little under water yet.

Didn't have my kicker on the boat so only trolled up and down pulling boards a few times until my batteries gave up. Caught ~10 walleyes with the largest being 16.5 all still swimming.

I have a camper at Rivers Edge on the river and see a lot of guys trolling, but see no posts. Is there another thread for this section of the river? Could be many don't know about these boards I suppose.
