Fished today with Rod the 3rd time he’s been in the boat this year. We fished crappies for 4 hours couldn’t get them on jig and minnows so pulled out the slip bobbers we had a lot fun. We’re in 11 foot of water letting the bobbers in the wind 2’ off the bottom. We caught lots of nice crappies and some big ones. No pictures today. I have a few days still open if anyone wants to get out the 13th, 18th, 20th and the 21st. Thanks

Mike with a personal best just short of 15".A cold front came though and fish had lock jaw, Mike was able to catch a few walleyes and enough crappies for a few fish frys, using just jig and minnows, tough bite but had a great time ,thanks Mike
Friday had Chris and Chris in the boat fishing. It’s getting harder to stay on crappies, water temps went down over 6 degrees in the last week and the crappies are tight to the bottom and we’re still having to chase them around. We had 4 keeper walleyes and 16 crappies we kept. Thanks guys.
Today it was John, Mark and Alex in the boat with me. We had 5 keepers walleye’s 8 short walleye’s 4 bass 6 pike and a 23” eelpout and 20 crappie kept for a fish fry. We still had 9 mph winds but it was a very nice day for the most part. Fish came on jig and minnows in river channels and over wood. Thanks guys was great to see you again this year. I still have days open here in October.
I have fished with Dave a few times and yes he can catch lots of crappies and knows that livescope like know one else. I recommend him and I send him people when I can’t take them. Thanks Dave awesome.
Spent the day last week with Crappie Dave Joswiak. OH MY LORD, what a day. Using livescope and and hunting down schools of crappie, we must've boated over 80 fish. We kept enough for a couple fish frys and through most back. Even fighting the wind and a few rain drops, it was an awesome day. I highly recommend using him as a guide. You'll get a good education on electronics and tactics, down to the best line to use and jig tail size. For the report side of this post, schools of crappie are moving about in Indian Bay, using livescope (or similar) electronics is best, but even drifting at .3-.5 MPH with slip bobbers set at 5-6.5 ft using jig and minnow presentations will get you enough for a couple meals.

Today fishing was tough. The wind was pushing us all over. We used larger jig heads with minnows along with scented plastics. Spent most of the day fishing over trees with Jim and Ken, enjoying the great outdoors. They ended up catching a bunch of fish.
I still have some openings this month if anyone is interested.

Thursday had Bernie in the boat for all day, enough with the wind already. So we caught most of are fish before noon, we had 4 keeper walleyes a good pike we kept 15 nice crappies. We have a few more days of this wind over 10 mph. Tough to find crappies out of the wind that we can catch and when we do they’re all small. I still have the 13th, 14th, 15th and the 18th open then I’m done till ice fishing in January. Thanks everyone.
Fished the last 2 days with Lance yesterday and Bob and Jake today. Both days very very windy gusty winds up to 30 mph. Had no trouble finding walleyes but the crappies were a little harder, only found a few schools we could fish and never out of the wind. Both days we caught only about 35 crappies but some nice. Walleye’s came in river channels and crappies came on stumps all on jig and minnows. Thanks guys always fun.
John and Rick were in the boat today for 6 hours doing a little walleye and crappie fishing. They were on fire today with us getting 9 keeper walleyes and at least 15 small walleyes 12 pike 3 bass and over 50 crappies. They kept only 20 and not all the big ones we had. Crappies were on trees and over wood caught on 1/16 oz jigs and minnows, the walleyes came in river channels edges in rocks. Awesome day guys thanks. Days open starting the 13th.
