Got out yesterday targeting the weedlines on the west shore and got a couple bluegills and a few crappies. Kept 5 for the frying pan and threw the rest back.
Wilke Lake, Manitowoc County

I took out my girlfriend and her son for a little northern pike tip-up action. The lake did not disappoint!
Anyone have ice condition reports since we had a lot of snow/melting? Where I live in southern WI there was a lot of snow and it was melting where it met the ice making it slushy. Just want to put out tip ups Saturday with family. I see there is a storm on the horizon tomorrow.
Terry’s bait bucket on hwy 57 north of Plymouth or Blackburn’s in new Holstein
Where can I guy get shiners around here? Coming home next week and was going to take my mom ice fishing using tip ups for her first time.

Fished a few hours this morning, lots of flags. ice is about 7inches. many small northern along with a few bluegill and one Largemouth Bass
If you are new to it, This lake is great for kids or impatient fishermen like me. Pike and sometimes bass will keep you busy all day but size is normally on the small side. Not many folks do really good on big panfish and those that do have a secret worth keeping.
Ran out of minnows the other day cuz pike were hitting so well. Bait shops love this lake to.
Was out in about 12 for of water. Only caught a couple dink’s. It’s all I have caught there in the 3 times I’ve been there besides one nice crappie. Still very new to this lake and any advice where I should go for panfish would be appreciated! Thanks
