You will not catch a legal size bass (8-10”) or a blugill (4-6”)big enough to eat. You will be very lucky to catch a perch big enough to eat let alone 3 or 4. What few pike are left are snakes. Had a winterkill 3 yrs ago that took all the biggest fish. Invasive weeds have filled the place. The bass that have taken over are stunted and haven’t grown in 2 yrs. Anything that might reach a harvestable size gets yanked out by the ice fishermen as most of open water season it is weed choked and only kayak/canoe accessible. If you like catching lots of small fish this place is good. Small place so easy to figure out in a few trips.
Does anyone know if you can keep fish in this lake? Heard you couldn’t keep them because of runoff? Maybe just a rumor…
