My buddy Al and I hit White Clay for the first time this summer. Did well on the bluegills, a dozen keepers of good size. On the west side in 13-15' using slip bobbers with worms (not crawlers).
|@ the lake|
yes they are in. Fished Sunday from3-6pm caught one 24" Northern. Water temp was 49 degrees
Anyone know if the docks are in yet?
Drove by the launch yesterday (19th), the lake looks mostly clear of ice but the dock isn't in yet and there is a lot of vegetation blown into the ramp. Still snow in the lot so parking any large truck/trailer would probably be tight with more than a couple on the lake.
Still ice on the lake, rotten ice, but still holding on.
Is the ice gone? Can I put a boat on the lake yet?
Anyone been fishing here lately? Looking to get on the crappie.
6° - 10° F
(Plenty of ice for trucks)
lots of snow 4x4 a must
we fished 10 to 5 and managed 5 small perch
Looking to come up Thursday, plan on targeting bluegill and crappie, any tips on where and what to get them?
Thanks in Advance!
21° - 25° F
Was out today from 130 till 430. Managed 5 decent size crappie even with all the traffic from the derby. Had a consistent 17 in of ice everywhere I stopped. Bite was slow. They'd come in around the 15 to 25 ft mark Chase and maybe bite if enticed enough. Travel was easy with a four wheeler.
