Fished the TFF from 5-30 to 6-4. Had all different kinds of weather and winds. But enough about that stuff. We just killed the fish. We found walleyes in anywhere from 3 to 20 fow. The areas that worked best were the mud flats just outside of stump fields. Bright yellow jigs with nightcrawlers, large fatheads, or red tail chubs all worked. The problem was that there were large concentrations of smallies around the same areas. Fun to catch but not what we were there for. As for the muskies had two solid hits and many more follows. Shallow running cranks and top water worked best.

Campsites were in great shape if that's what you plan on doing.

Good luck & tight lines....Dsr

Did fish this past weekend. Had to fish hard for any walleyes. Started in shallows and move to deep water fast. Found small walleyes in 25-30 ft of water. Jig and minnow worked the best. Trick---drag the minnow DO NOT jig it. Thats what worked for us. Will be back up May 30th. To nuts this weekend. Later

Plan to be on the flowage next week. Anyone gone in from Murrays landing? How is the water depth. How have the walleyes been biting?
