What bait do you use to target them? I lost one on a nightcrawler and I have just started to try and catch one. Bucket list thing lol.

Anyone having any luck with Sturgeon fishing this year. Seems real quiet. I’ve tried the Dells Dam no luck just snags and more snags.

The girls are getting it done in Wisconsin Dells. 20 sturgeon and counting as well as 3 flatheads and a drum thus far. Great day to be out on the water!  Only got a few days left before season ends.

Fished below the Dells dam this evening. 30 sturgeon boated. Biggest came in at 50.25. A few mid 40s as well as a few bonus flatheads, walleye and drum. Great action the whole time.

Few dates still available before the season ends at the end of month!

We fished the Wisconsin Dells for Sturgeon on opening day (which happened to fall on Labor Day this year). There was a lot of boat traffic in the Dells as usual, but we managed to find a lot of lake sturgeon.  No big ones, but it was super fun being able to put my two boys on some prehistoric fish!

There is always a chance we bump into one of these dinosaurs on the river we fish once a year, and at the end of day two, we managed to hook into one.
