Lots of crappies, empty, all 8, inch.  small gills and perch.  Gills had eggs. Will not spawn this year because of weather.

I haven't fished Stella for 3 years but for the 37 years my parents had a cottage on it the fishing was pretty good. Fishing the edges of the gravel bars seemed to hold a lot of fish.As for fishing pressure, if you would see 5 or 6 boats fishing a evening that would be a lot. I have many good memories fishing out there. Some big fish swim the waters. Great Lake to take kids to. Hope to get back some day with my son and grandson. Good luck out there.

What a sleeper lake, boated a small but fat 30" Musky, CPR her, what a fight when you are set up for smallmouth and a medium action rod and 8# test line. First time I fished this lake. Caught numerous small and largemouth bass and northern pike but no walleye, I will return here for sure. This may be why there are few if any reports, nobody wants you to know about this lake and I can see why.

I dont know if the dock is still there but I launch my 18 ft bass boat no problem. If you dont know where launch is you could drive right by it.

Wondering if the boat landing is a good one, and is the dock taken out before winter arrives. So wondering if it is still in yet, and useable. Thanks

Well..... No walleyes or smallmouth today. Lots of small crappies and northern. Casting a pink jig w/ white tail. I saw lots of gills and crappies in the shallows. Along with one small musky. Maybe 28 inches.
