was out last night on south...5 inches of ice...but slush coming off the boat launch...targeted walleyes during the evening..sun was down below the tree line when they started hitting. 2 on tip-ups with suckers and 6 with a jigging rap..tip ups ran slow and not much line out but they whacked the jigging rap...was a great night to be out...saw 4-wheelers out there but they were all on the north side of the lake

Just looking to get some action started in this forum.  Been out of state for a number of years and haven't used this site in awhile.  Anyone still around here?

Was up for vacation this past week. Fished mostly South twin, as we stayed at Jefferson's Landing. Fishing was pretty good. Walleye's on the outside edges of the weeds. Crappie's were scattered about. Had to search for them. The bigger fish still had spawn in them. Either they did not have time to spawn this year, or they are still going to. Water temp was 72 degrees though, so makes me think they missed it. Both Bass species were in shallow, and spawning, along with the Bluegills.

Boated this 28" Walleye Tuesday evening.

Gotta hand it to ya Colin. You called this snow this week way ahead of time. Don't think many, if any saw it coming like this. We got nailed, that's for sure. What weather do you follow because I didn't hear about this as soon as you must have?
