Not open yet but it is going to be very close for opener, Disappearing Creek is open and Squaw is open to park. A lot of open holes and very dark ice. I feel with any type of wind or rain it will go out tonight or tomorrow sometime.

I was up there about a week ago for 10 days and jeez the Crappie were jumping outta the water. The usually bit best from 5:30AM-about7AM. Then they picked up again from 6pm-9:15ish. they were still biting throughout the day though. Almost all of them were on regular Mr. Twisters using a white twister tail. I had one morning where i caught 3 in my first 4 casts! and all of the crappie are as small as 6 inches and some were as big as 12-15inches! Didnt find to many walleye and of course their was more than enough Bluegill and Large Mouth biting. Most of the Largemouth were about 10-13 inches, but i did pull in a nice 17 incher as well as a 15 1/2 incher. I'll be back up in a couple of weeks and i hope they're still feeding like this.
